Digital Hardware Design Engineer
Geotech Instruments, LLC seeks an experienced Engineer to design and develop electrical hardware architectures for real-time data acquisition systems. Required duties include: specification generation for electrical systems and modules, execution of architecture studies, HW/SW partitioning, and development of electronic architectures and circuit board assemblies. Other duties include:application of embedded ARM/microprocessors/DSP, embedded C firmware design, digital hardware design, specification of test procedures and design verification. Familiarity with FPGA development tools, debugging firmware using in-circuit emulators, and Internet communication protocols are expected. Minimum requirements are a BSEE or equivalent degree and 5 years practice in the above fields. EOE.
